PINE BELT PACERS EQUIPMENT USE POLICY/RESERVATIONS
The Pine Belt Pacers own a large race clock, two small printer/timers, and
numerous other items which are used for running/walking events. The
replacement value of this equipment is quite high. The equipment was
purchased with the intent that it would be used at club events.
Equipment Use Policy:
Use of club equipment will be limited to current and past club officers. Those officers or former officers must agree to be physically present at the event and supervise the use of the equipment. In no instance will the equipment be provided to groups without the direct on site supervision of the responsible Pacer. On the date the clock or equipment is physically collected, Becky Ryder must be contacted and notified that the officer or past officer has possession of the equipment. Upon return of the equipment, Becky must be notified. All officers past or present who have never used the equipment must be inserviced in the proper use and storage. Events need to be made aware that the Pine Belt Pacers are not the coordinators of the event and are not responsible for anything associated with directing the event unless this is a PBP sanctioned event.
Reservation of the equipment is on a first come basis and will be scheduled with the equipment manager, Becky Ryder. Priority is given to club sanctioned events. No fee is associated with the use of the equipment.
